We’re a husband-and-wife duo behind 8K47 Studio and Honey Fern — a Highlands Ranch–based photo and video studio focused on real people, real stories, and honest, cinematic imagery.
Honey Fern is our portrait photography brand, specializing in natural outdoor sessions for couples, maternity, families, and individuals. 8K47 Studio focuses on separate, custom videography for events, brands, and personal projects. Together, they let us offer both stills and films that feel cohesive and intentional.
We’ve been photographing and filming people and stories for over 10 years.
Our Story
We started behind the camera more than a decade ago, first with photography and then with videography, drawn to storytelling and the way a single frame or scene can hold an entire memory. Over time, we learned how to balance beautiful visuals with real-life moments — the in-between laughs, the quiet looks, the details you don’t realize you’ll miss until they’re gone.
What began as a creative outlet gradually grew into 8K47 Studio and Honey Fern: a small, intentional studio where we combine our different strengths, shoot together, and give clients both still images and moving images that feel personal, not staged.
